JNU ADMISSION PROCESS COMPLETE DETAILS:

To get an admission in JNU, you must first of all appear in the Entrance examination conducted by JNU every year. Based on your performance in the entrance examination, you will be selected for admission in JNU for the course you have applied for. JNU offers admission in various courses every year.
Some of the important documents are required there for admissions
(i) character certificate (from college/Gazetted officer, less than 6 months old),

(ii) migration and provisional certificates (from university) as soon as your UG final semester results are out.

If you're from DU they'll provide you with migration and provisional within three days (though they ask you to come back in a week, keep checking).

(iii)You can simply download the statement of marks (UG) and get it attested by college principal/authority.

As soon as you receive the offer letter from JNU (by logging in to your account), get

(iv) a medical certificate from a Gazetted medical officer ( with seal and registration number) in the format prescribed by the university (you'll get it on the same webpage you saw your result, just download it and take the printout), and

(v) a pair of anti ragging affidavits - one deponed by you and another by your guardian, as prescribed by the university (again, same webpage, right below your result). Go to a court for this. 100 rupees per affidavit is the deal you should be looking for.

(vi) Also, arrange for a few copies of electricity bill of your owner's house in case you have completed your graduation from a college in Delhi and have lived in private accommodation

Some other documents required are: -

 - Get at least 4 copies* of the following documents-
1. Xth marksheet

2. Xth certificate

3. Xiith certificate

4. Xiith marksheet

5. Graduation marksheet

6. Graduation provisional certificate/degree

7. Migration certificate

8. Anti-ragging affidavits

9. Electricity bill

10. Character certificate (less than 6 months old)

11. Domicile/Aadhaar/passport/voter idcard (Any two)

*all copies are to be self-attested.
